Mousehole...

Flowers

Mousehole (Mouzel) is a vibrant Cornish community and a remarkably unspoilt village. The south arm of the harbour dates to 400AD and was the embarkation point for pilgrims to Rome in the early days of Christianity.

The village has the distinction of being one of the very few places in mainland Britian to be invaded since 1066; it was pillaged and burnt by the Spaniards in 1595. Today it provides a perfect base from which to explore this delightful 'little land'. It remains, in the words of Dylan Thomas, 'The most beautiful village in England'.
