The salty air of the Cornish seaside lends itself well to a good night’s sleep, whatever Mousehole’s seagulls might have to say.
So we’ve sourced only the best beds. Our aim: to be bombarded with requests for details of where we find them. Which happens relentlessly.
In each room, Roberts Radios, bathroom bottles from Bramley Products, proper coffee and Cornish tea, soft linen and books with which to curl up on your bed.
And Cornish art sits comfortably on our Ty Mawr lime-painted walls, some the work of local painter Tim Hall who runs a recommended painting school just outside Mousehole.
I kept delaying my departure by another hour. It’s that sort of place.

Below are our 2025 year round rates in GBP, both B&B and Dinner, B&B. Dinner, B&B includes 3 courses from anywhere on our menu. We only ask that guests are on the same rate type through their stay.
If you’re staying on any of our dinner inclusive rates, we’re happy for you to eat EITHER with us or at The Gurnard’s Head when you make your table reservations.
Year round rates
Our bedrooms
All rooms have en suite bathrooms, most with baths, some with showers. Some rooms are less quiet than others. Please do ask when booking if you are yearning for peace. Thankfully, Coralie Rogers of Room at Hay has for many years managed to bring some structure to some of our more individual decorative excesses. But the Inkin mark hopefully remains and is an important part of who we are.
Each bedroom has a view of the sea, many with nothing between it and us save our garden and a few rocks. Some enjoy a mere glimpse, others an astonishing panorama from a top floor balcony. From many, the hypnotic St. Clement’s Isle takes the eye, resolutely distracting one’s gaze from The Lizard, St. Michael’s Mount and departing fishing boats.
Doubles
Comfortable bedrooms ideal for a shorter stay or for our solo travellers. You’ll find most of the amenities as in the larger rooms but a little less floor space.
Good Doubles
More comfortable for those with us for a couple of nights. Some of these rooms have the best from-bed views in the building. And our good doubles on the terrace also have their own balconies.
Better Doubles
Larger rooms great for longer stays or for anyone spending a bit more time in their bedroom. All have views to sea, some look straight at Mousehole’s harbour.
Best Double
Room 15. Top room on the top floor. With balcony. So yes, a marvellous sea view. And plenty of floor space with excellent walk-in shower and separate bath.
