Gift Vouchers

Ever popular resolutions to difficult present problems, our vouchers can be with you within a couple of days.

For any amount, or for a particular offer, they last at least 12 months and we’re happy to extend them if needed. They are usable at any of our three little Inns.

Do email us here if you think we can help. Sad as it was to leave our previous Blue Peter efforts, we now have proper voucher holders to make for a better present all round.

We donate 5% of voucher sales in each December to our chosen charities. This year, we've raised almost £1,500 for Cornwall Hospice Care, National Coastwatch Institution and Cancer Research Wales.

Beyond summer

£349 for a 2 night stay with dinner

We've always said that Cornwall can we at its very best outside of the busiest times.  Underpopulated beaches, roads and galleries and a climate that can often surprise on the upside.

The September Sleepover was designed to encourage our guests to visit at this magical time of year.  From £349 for two nights including dinner.

And, what's more, you can stay as many nights as you like and can choose whether to eat here with us or make your way over to our sister inn, The Gurnard's Head.

Starting Sunday 3rd September, until Thursday 5th October.  For availability and prices, please do drop an email to our Roundhouse team.

Many of you come for a bit of eat, plenty of sleep and perhaps a little drink. And you love to have the freedom to do what you want during the day. But some may wish for a little more structure.

So we introduced some new sleepover packages to bring you together with some of the very talented people who live here in Cornwall.

We have a full calendar of events, including the festivals which take place around us: if you'd like a PDF please drop us an email here

Residential packages will include your stay, breakfast, dinner, transport and the cost of the course.

The next date for the 2017 programme is our Yoga Weekend with Leif Olsen which runs from 10 - 12 November.  Open to non-residents at £100 per person.

Wine Dinners

Our Friday night wine suppers seem to be quickly booked out, so we hope we've found the right balance between cost and excitement.

Stay in touch with news of these and other events by liking our Facebook page, registering as a friend of EDS on our Become A Friend page or drop an email to
our Roundhouse team.

Next up on 3 November is a dinner with the newest addition to our cast of wine importers, Carte Blanche Wines.  £60 a head.  More details from here.

Caroline Davey has long been a friend of EDS. Scientist and forager, she has built the immensely impressive Fat Hen, bringing Cornwall and its visitors closer to nature.

Over 2017 she runs 5 days walking the hedgerows and shorelines or West Penwith, either from The Gurnard's (5 May and 8 September) or from here at The Old Coastguard ( April, 19 May & 10 June).

If you'd like more details about the dates and itineraries for 2017, email the Roundhouse team or visit Caroline's website.

Our first offer back in 2003 at The Griffin, and still properly popular. Kick back with us for Sunday lunch, the papers and maybe an afternoon on the terrace.

Then supper, a good night's sleep and breakfast on Monday morning.  From £227.50 per couple.

For more details of prices and availability of any of our offers, contact us via the website or send an email here.
